ABOUT KVS
KVS was established by Steve Matthews in 1997 & has been operating continuously for 26 years.
Our team consists of experienced technicians, sheet metal fabricators, welders, and machine operators.
We have 2 factory units covering 520m² containing up-to-date equipment: CNC Turret Punch, CNC plasma cutter, guillotines, press brake, folders, sheet metal fabrication machines, MIG, TIG, Arc & Spot welding, milling, turning, grinding, tumbling machines.
We manufacture the KV range of standard, modular commercial kitchen extract canopies and associated equipment.
We manufacture custom-built systems on request.
The company is primarily focused on the design and manufacture of kitchen ventilation and extraction systems with additional capacity for custom fabrication of Stainless steel, Aluminium, and non-ferrous metal products – additional specialist areas include Pizza oven ventilation, environmental filtration systems, Oxygen & Ozone generators for deodorant and sterilizing applications. .

Oliver Matthews Stellenbosch Uni, CPUT - runs CNC, Technical, ACAD design office.
We offer delivery of our ex-works products, either directly with our own vehicles or through courier/transport companies.
Our products are supplied to restaurants, hotel groups, fast food franchise operations, commercial food manufacturers, hotels, universities, etc.
In addition to kitchen canopies, we also manufacture filters, splashbacks, vapour-proof lights, weather cowls, and roof exhaust/intake units for supply to resellers, air conditioning companies, burner/boiler manufacturers, etc.
We are BEE accredited and are fully compliant with all the necessary institutions like SARS, UIF, Workman's Compensation Fund, Metal & Engineering Industry Bargaining Council, etc.

Our area of operation is the Western Cape and we have partner companies in Gauteng and Kwazulu-Natal. We also export to neighbouring African states and Indian Ocean islands.
